The Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center has been honored to host several country music icons including Ray Price, Don Williams, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Loretta Lynn. Amongst that list is one of the truly great legends of country nobility, Charley Pride. Pride’s incredible legacy includes 40 #1 hit singles, over 70 million albums sold, 31 gold and 4 platinum albums - including a quadruple platinum album.
Charley Pride makes a triumphant return to the Wagner Noël to perform his “Pride in America” show on Sunday, November 18, 2018. “What an incredible journey it has been for me and my family,” states Pride, “I love what I do, and love my country, this is going to be a very special show for me.”
Dozens of Pride's chart toppers now stand as modern classics. "Kiss an Angel Good Morning" went on to be a million-selling crossover single and helped Pride land Country Music Association Awards Entertainer of the Year and Top Male Vocalist.
Other memorable Pride standards include "Is Anybody Goin' to San Antone?" "I'm So Afraid of Losing You Again," "Mississippi Cotton Picking Delta Town," "Someone Loves You Honey," "When I Stop Leaving I'll be gone," "Burgers and Fries," and "You're So Good When You're Bad.”
Tickets for this very special performance will not last long. Ticket prices range from $52-$87 and may be purchased at the box office, www.wagnernoel.com or by calling ETIX at 1-800-514-3849.
